The Contrast Club is a family run design company located in Southern Finland. The company focuses on merging the worlds of jewellery and engineering, bringing a breath of life to the traditional art of fine jewellery. 

After spending several years balancing parallel career paths in art and engineering, The Contrast Club was created as a beautiful middle ground where aesthetics are supported by creative technical design. Using this unusual pairing in expertise, the company focuses on the creation of items that go beyond the boundaries of traditional products, pushing the limits of what an object actually is. Together with its network of artisans, jewellery professionals and engineers, each piece goes through a meticulous development process, lasting months, if not years, before it is ready to be presented to the public.

All pieces of jewellery are grouped into collections that follow themes of inspiration. Particular aspects of the theme are selected for each item and the design and movement of the piece is carefully planned to play a role in this storyline. Engineering excellence & artisanal craftmanship

With nearly two decades of experience with precision engineering the team at The Contrast Club meticulously fine tune parts and components that make up the magic of The Contrast Club products. Each piece is carefully designed to be repairable so that future generations can experience and enjoy it further.

All products are manufactured in Finland. They are perfected in the hands of goldsmiths who beautifully polish the pieces and attach sections. The parts are then handed over to our micromechanics who hand assemble the pieces and set in place the internal mechanisms. Once this intricate process has been completed, the items are ready to be shipped around the world.

FAQ

Currently all pieces are made and assembled in Southern Finland.

Our pieces are cast in a jewellery foundry in Southern Finland, which has been run by the same family for four generations. The pieces are then hand polished and the mechanisms put in place by our precision engineers.

We choose our materials with care and aim to use recycled metals as much as possible. Currently our cast pieces use 100% recycled material.

If you find an issue with the product, please contact us on info@thecontrastclub.com, or the WhatsApp number you received at purchase. If it is within the three year warranty period, we will get it fixed free of charge. See here for more details.

If a product gets damaged we also offer a repair service for all products. Use the same contact details to organise collection.

No batteries are required. The Contrast Club products do not include electronics or battery powered components.

You can use a soft cloth and soap water to gently clean the surfaces. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing in a jewellery box or pouch. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines.

For any polished surfaces you may also use a jewellery polishing cloth. Avoid using a polishing cloth on any matte metal surfaces.

For pieces with patinated surfaces avoid any physical contact. The area is protected with a lacquer, but it can come off with wear. Patina is a living surface and can change its look over time.

If you wish to restore the patina to its original form, please send it over to our atelier for servicing.

If you wish to get the piece cleaned and polished, and all internal parts checked up, you can send your piece to us for servicing. Please contact us by email on info@thecontrastclub.com, or the WhatsApp number you received at purchase, and we will make sure your piece is restored to its initial state as much as possible.

After purchase we will send you a private WhatsApp number that you can use to contact us quickly for any issues or questions you may have.

You can send your piece to us for servicing whenever you like. We recommend having this done every two years if it is in frequent use.

We will clean and polish the piece and check all internal parts.

You can send your piece to us by first contacting us by email at info@thecontrastclub.com, or the WhatsApp number you received at purchase, and we will make sure your piece is restored to its initial state as much as possible.

Servicing is free in the first three years after purchase, and after that we will charge a 350 euro fee plus delivery costs.

All pieces come with a 3 year warrantee. We also offer servicing on all pieces. Find more information about our warranty here.

We are happy to resize rings free of charge within 90 days of purchase.

We will be flexible with accommodating your resizing request, but we offer this service completely at our discretion.

For orders delivered outside of Finland, we will require you to pay for any delivery and any customs fees.
